  • Jiangxi province makes progress in cracking down illegal operations in rare earth industry

    Jiangxi provincial government announced on October 10 that it has made some progress in cracking down illegal operations in the rare earth industry.

    The government strengthened registration and reporting system for rare earth projects. Over the past three years no new rare-earth recycling projects have been approved or built, and 19 projects which were not approve and not built, or approved but not built, have been called off.

    Some rare earth enterprises exited the industry or wrote themselves off.     The government also strengthened its administration on the whole rare earth industrial chain.
