Minmetals Capital noted on 12 September that NCM precursor for lithium battery production is the upstream product of ternary material and 70% of its ternary anode products are used to produce power lithium battery, with 30% producing consumer electronics.
Currently, Jinchi Material and Changyuan Lico, subsidiaries of Minmetals Capital, are producing at full capacity with ternary material in short supply. Jinchi Material finished construction of its phase II project of 10,000tpy in H1 2017, and is operating at full capacity after debugging.
