  • Two academician workstations set up in Rare Earth High-tech Zone

    Recently, "Rare Earth Sulfide and Rare Earth Light Source" academician workstation from Baotou Rare Earth R&D Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and "Photoelectricity Information Science and Engineering" academician workstation from Baotou Materials Research Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University have been set up in the Rare Earth High-tech Zone, where four academician workstations had been set up.

    "Rare Earth Sulfide and Rare Earth Light Source" academician workstation from Baotou Rare Earth R&D Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences mainly carries out R&D and application of rare earth sulfide, rare earth luminescent materials and other materials, including the application of rare earth sulfide colorants in painting, plastic coloring, ceramics and other aspects as well as the application of rare earth agricultural light source in facility agriculture.

    "Photoelectricity Information Science and Engineering" academician workstation from Baotou Materials Research Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University mainly focuses on R&D and application of emerging optoelectronic materials, nanoelectronic materials and other materials, including full-coverage forest-fire prevention infrared color imaging monitoring system, natural graphene processing and industrialization study of high Technology as well as R&D and application of graphene photoelectric materials.
