Hebei Environmental Protection Office: Speeding up the issuance of discharge permit for iron and steel industry

On August 8th, Hebei Environmental Protection Office announced the notice to speed up the issuance of discharge permit for iron and steel industry. On September 29, 2016, the Office claimed that all enterprises in the iron and steel industry were required to discharge air pollutants in accordance with the national special emission limits and related local stipulations from September 1 of 2017 and those in non-compliance with the standards after the date will be legally forced to shut down.
