Recently, the inspection team organized by the State Administration of Work Safety went to Anshan and Yingkou, Liaoning province for thorough investigation of the iron and steel industry on cutting the overcapacity and law enforcement of production safety. The team focused on 5 steel companies including Anshan Baode Steel & Iron Co., Ltd. and discovered 102 various hidden dangers and problems. The Safety Administration ordered safety supervision departments of Liaoning province to carry out the law enforcement action in safety production of iron and steel industry in accordance with the relevant requirements, ensure the hidden dangers rectified properly, severely punish those violate relative laws, and enhance the effectiveness of law. Besides, the rectification schemes of the 5 companies and relevant punishment shall be reported to the State Administration of Work Safety timely.
