National Quality Inspection Center for Tungsten and Rare Earth and Institute of Metal Research of CAS conduct scientific research cooperation

Ganzhou—China Rare Earth Metal Valley Scientific and Technical Achievement Conference, which was jointly hosted by Ganzhou government, Jiangxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Nanjing Branch of Chinese Academy of Science and Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, was held in Ganxian district on May 6th. Yan Chunhua, an academician from Chinese Academy of Science, attended the conference. National Quality Inspection Center for Tungsten and Rare Earth and Institute of Metal Research of Chinese Academy of Science signed a cooperation agreement during the conference.
It is reported that the two parties will jointly establish a research laboratory for rare earth doping new material, organize and found a professional technology team and jointly apply related research projects in order to conduct deep cooperation on new type rare earth doping structural material, rare earth special steel, high-purity rare earth metal alloy, new type magnetic material researches and related inspection method, technology standard, quality improvement, achievement transformation, talent introduction and others to promote the development of rare earth new material and application industries in Ganzhou.
As a new supporting point to promote the develop of major industry of Ganzhou, Ganzhou—China Rare Earth Metal Valley will be a channel to create famous rare metal industrial cluster in China, promote the upgrading of rare earth, tungsten and other resources industries into high-end new material and application industries. During the conference, Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure on Matter, Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry and Ningbo Institute of Industrial Technology under Chinese Academy of Science as well as Sun Yat-sen University and other units or enterprises also signed cooperation agreements related to scientific projects.
