National Tungsten and Rare Earth Quality Inspection Center and Jiangxi Kingan Hi-tech opens a joint-venture zirconium-hafnium lab

On 16 March, the National Tungsten and Rare Earth Product Quality Inspection Center (hereafter referred to as “the Center”) and Jiangxi Kingan Hi-tech Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “Kingan”) opened a joint-venture zirconium-hafnium lab.
As a high-tech enterprise on hafnium and new energy materials, Kingan has businesses covering research, production, sales and comprehensive utilization of resources. An important zirconium and hafnium producer in China, Kinga boasts production capacities and market shares of zirconium and hafnium products standing among the front ranks across the country.
The Center owns high-level technology teams, advanced inspection equipment and mature services, having been cooperating with Kingan in product research and development, quality control, standards formulation as well as staff training.
Located in the Center, the zirconium-hafnium lab is mandated to, centering upon Kingan’s existing zirconium salts and stabilized zirconia as well as upon product development trends and market demand, carry out projects on quality monitoring, new technology research, standards formulation and revision related to nanometer-zirconia and zirconium-hafnium products.
