  • World's first serial tunnel kiln production line for rare earth colorant goes into production in Baotou

    Supported by core technologies of Changchun Practical Chemistry Research Institution under Chinese Academy of Science, the world’s first serial tunnel kiln production line for rare earth colorant has been established in Baotao Rare Earth Research Center under Chinese Academy of Science recently and has produced the first batch of material, indicating that Chinese Academy of Science has created another original breakthrough in downstream application area for rare earth high value-added materials.

    Zhong Hongjie, an academician from Chinese Academy of Science, and Li Chengyu, a researcher from National Key Laboratory of Utilization Department of Changchun Practical Chemistry Research Institution Rare Earth under Chinese Academy of Science, cooperated with  Baotou Rare Earth Center and conducted pilot tests for 10t of materials in  Baotou supported by 3 core technical patents of Changchun Practical Chemistry Research Institution. After nearly one year of design and election for equipments and technical exploration, the first batch of materials was finally produced on November 3rd, 2016.
