Five Ganzhou departments jointly inspect on sorted disposal of rare earth recycling projects

In order to further clear out and standardize rare earth resources recycling projects, accelerate the integration of rare earth resources and enhance development of the rare earth industry, in accordance with the requirements of city and provincial governments, Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guizhou recently jointed departments of Development and Reform, Environmental Protection, Safety Supervision and Industry and Commerce as well as experts in the rare earth industry to supervise and inspect on sorted disposal of rare earth resources recycling projects in Xunwu, Dingnan, Quannan, Xinfeng, Dayu, Gan county. They supervised and inspected 21 projects by taking on-the-spot investigation, consulting information and holding symposiums. Seen from the inspection results, all six counties carry out sorted disposal of rare earth resources recycling projects in accordance with the requirements.
First, almost completed standardizing and clearing out rare earth resources recycling projects; second, promoted enterprises to join the rare earth large group; third, regularly carried out safety inspections and environmental inspections; fourth, cracked down illegal process of rare earth minerals.
Next, Ganzhou will take work-notification system aiming at problems and deficiencies found during supervisions and inspections, promote typical county throughout the whole city; study and introduce a unified management approach to improve the mechanism of fighting against illegal behavior in the rare earth industry; and further strengthen and guide enterprises to strengthen work safety and environmental protection investment, improve the investigation mechanism and promote the transformation of old facilities to prevent production safety and environmental pollution accidents.
