Huizhou United Copper Foil starts construction of phase-three project

On March 14, Huizhou United Copper Foil Electronic Material Co., Ltd. commenced the construction of its phase-three program with total investment of more than 1 billion yuan (154 million US dollars). The phase-three program will mainly produce ultra-thin copper foil 4-10μm used for lithium battery, with a designed annual production capacity of 12,900t, and is expected to launch commercial production late this year.
According to the company, it will have a total annual production capacity of 20,000t upon completion of the phase-three program, realizing annual production value of nearly 3 billion yuan (461 million US dollars).
