Zhongjin Lingnan Nonferrous Metals: Fankou lead-zinc mine to run new beneficiation plant

On December 1, Zhongjin Lingnan Nonferrous Metals held a ceremony on docking the new and old beneficiation plants of its Fankou lead-zinc mine.
Built in 1965, the mine's old beneficiation plant has undergone a number of technical upgrading and renovation, and by 2008 it had formed a comprehensive production capacity of 180,000 metal tons of lead and zinc. But previous technical upgrading was done based on the plant's existing facilities and equipment un-upgraded has run beyond its life cycle, which hindered the plant's development. Under such a background, the mine decided to construct a new beneficiation plant to lift its processing capacity to 5,000tpd.
The new plant, with a land area of around 20,000 square meters, went into full-swing construction on June 2, 2017 and had its main buildings constructed by June 29, 2019. Following equipment installing and commissioning was done, and now the new plant has reached requirements on going into operation.
The docking process will last for 37 days from December 1, 2020 to January 6, 2021; when it ends, the new plant will go into operation.
