HBIS Resources: Indirect-holding South African subsidiary to halt production temporarily

On the evening of 26 March, HBIS Resources announced that its indirect-holding South African subsidiary Palabora Mining Company planned to halt production temporarily.
In order to effectively control the spread of COVID-19, the South African government announced a 21-day lockdown from 26 March to 16 April. Therefore, South African-based Palabora Mining Company and its subsidiaries planned to temporarily halt production on 26 March local time in response and expected to resume production on 17 April.
Palabora Mining Company is mainly engaged in production and sales of copper ore, vermiculite and magnetite.
