According to Ningxia Tianyuan Manganese Industry Group, it putted high-grade mine in Ghana into operation the other day, which marked faster progress in the global market distribution by virtue of “One Belt and Road” for the largest electrolytic manganese metal company, and more strengthened competence of allocation energy world widely for companies in Ningxia. On 11 May, leaders of Ningxia Tianyuan Manganese Industry Group and the Ghanaian high-level administration had a conference and reached an agreement. In addition to manganese ore exploration in Ghana, Tianyuan Manganese Industry will export on a large scale its cement out of manganese slag to Ghana.
The company’s capacity of manganese metal reaches 800,000tpy now, accounting for 1/3 of the total world, and it consumes more than 3 million tons of imported manganese ore per year. With the implementation of "13th Five-Year" long-term plan, the capacity of manganese series products of Tianyuan Manganese Industry will reach 3 million tons by 2020, when the annual consumption of imported manganese ore will reach 8.5 million tons.
Located in the west of Africa and to the northern shore of Guinea Bay, the Republic of Ghana is rich in high-quality manganese ore with 113 million tons of domestic manganese ore resources, ranking first in the world. Tianyuan Manganese Industry has imported manganese ore from Ghana, South Africa and other countries for nearly 10 years.
