  • Chinese mining quota for rare earth, tungsten and antimony in 2011

    Today, Ministry of Land and Resources of People’s Republic of China announced the mining quota for rare earth, tungsten and antimony in 2011.

    In the announcement, the quota for rare earth (REO content) is 93800t, the quota for tungsten concentrate (WO3 content 65%) is 87000t, and the quota for antimony concentrate (metal content) is 105000t.

    The announcement also stated that China will not accept application for new mines of tungsten, antimony and rare earth before June 30, 2012.
