The Ecology and Environment Bureau of Babu District, Hezhou City, Guangxi, recently issued an approval for the ecological environmental impact assessment (EIA) report of the stainless steel special steel strip precision processing project undertaken by Hezhou Jinxinda New Material Technology Co., Ltd., granting it in-principle approval.
Located in Babu District, Hezhou City, the project involves a total investment of RMB45 million (USD6.75 million) and covers an area of 46.15 mu (about 3.08 hectares). It will build standard factory buildings with a total construction area of 22,286.59 square meters in two phases.
The project plans to install production equipment including high-speed precision rolling mills, roll grinders, CNC polishing machines, as well as precision annealing, tension leveling, and slitting units. It will adopt processes such as cold rolling, annealing, tension leveling, cleaning and drying, slitting, and polishing to conduct deep processing of stainless steel and special metal coils.
Upon completion of Phase I, the facility will achieve deep-processing capacities of 80,000tpy of precision stainless steel and 10,000tpy of special precision materials. With the completion of Phase II, the total capacity will reach 150,000tpy of precision stainless steel and 30,000tpy of special precision materials.
