On October 29, the steel deep processing project in the China-Mongolia Erenhot-Zamyn-Uud Economic Cooperation zone officially broke ground. The project is invested and constructed by Erenhot Quansheng Steel Products Co., Ltd., with a total investment of RMB35 million (USD5.26 million) and a planned land area of approximately 15 mu (about 1 hectare).
The project will build standardized production workshops, finished product warehouses, and comprehensive office facilities. It will introduce a full set of intelligent steel deep processing production lines to create a comprehensive steel processing base. The base will integrate hot-rolled coiled pipe production, steel coil leveling, slitting, cut-to-length shearing, and 20,000W fiber laser cutting for both thick and thin plates.
Once completed and operational, the project is expected to process 100,000 tonnes of steel annually. It is projected to generate an annual revenue of approximately RMB300 million (USD45.09 million) and annual profits and taxes of over RMB10 million (USD1.50 million), while directly creating 55 stable jobs.
