Colombia's Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism has launched an anti-dumping (AD) investigation into imports of certain hot-rolled L-shaped and U-shaped iron or steel profiles from China and Turkey.
The inquiry, prompted by applications from domestic producers Diaco and Ternium Colombia, targets alloy and non-alloy steel profiles that are hot-rolled or hot-extruded with a maximum height of 101.60 millimeters (4 inches). The products involved fall under HS codes 7216.10.00.00, 7216.21.00.00, 7216.31.00.00, 7216.40.00.00, and 7228.70.00.00.
Interested parties have 30 working days to submit arguments, evidence, and questionnaire responses. Authorities will determine whether dumping exists and whether it causes injury to domestic producers.
