Baosteel reports main product output and sales for Q1-Q3

According to its main operating data announcement, Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Baosteel) produced 12.839 million tonnes of iron and 13.094 million tonnes of crude steel in the third quarter of 2026, while sales of commercial billets and steel products reached 13.468 million tonnes. In the first three quarters, cumulative iron output reached 36.605 million tonnes, crude steel output stood at 38.632 million tonnes, and sales of commercial billets and steel products totaled 39.150 million tonnes.
By product category, flat steel output and sales both reached 34.11 million tonnes in the first three quarters. In Q3 alone, flat steel production and sales were 11.63 million tonnes and 11.83 million tonnes, respectively. Pipe and tube output totaled 1.52 million tonnes with sales of 1.50 million tonnes in the first three quarters, with both output and sales reaching 500,000 tonnes in Q3. Additionally, other steel products recorded a first-three-quarter output of 3.64 million tonnes and sales of 3.54 million tonnes, while their Q3 output and sales stood at 1.09 million tonnes and 1.14 million tonnes, respectively.
