The Korea Trade Commission (KTC) has decided to recommend anti-dumping (AD) measures on imports of Chinese cold-rolled zinc and zinc alloy steel products.
After determining that dumping caused injury to the domestic industry, the commission recommended that the Minister of Finance and Economy impose AD duties ranging from 22.34% to 33.67% and implement price commitments for Chinese exporters over a five-year period.
Under the price commitment system, foreign suppliers voluntarily raise export prices to mitigate harm to domestic producers.
The HS codes for the affected products are 7210.41.0000, 7210.49.9010, 7210.49.9090, 7210.61.0000, 7210.70.2000, 7212.30.9010, 7212.30.9090, 7212.40.2000, 7225.92.9091, 7225.92.9099, and 7226.99.3000.
