Canada has extended anti-dumping (AD) duties on oil country tubular goods (OCTG) imported from Taiwan, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam, while removing the duty order on Ukraine.
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) completed its expiry review and found that imports from the seven countries could injure domestic producers if the orders lapsed. It concluded that Ukrainian imports were unlikely to cause injury, so the measure against Ukraine was rescinded.
The renewed orders continue to exempt products exported by South Korea's Hyundai Steel Company and Turkey's Borusan Mannesmann Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret A.?.
For exporters without specific normal values, the current AD duty is 37.4% of the export price.
