On October 20, the vanadium electrolyte plant of RS Energy Technology (Panzhihua) Co., Ltd. was completed in Geliping Special Industrial Park, Panzhihua, Sichuan Province. As the largest vanadium electrolyte production facility in the Panxi region, the project is expected to generate annual output value of RMB1-1.2 billion (USD149.90-179.99 million) once fully operational.
The plant has installed two roasting furnaces and one vanadium electrolyte production line. Trial production is set to begin by the end of October, with formal production scheduled for November. The facility has a designed total capacity of 60,000 cubic meters per year, though initial output will be limited to 10,000 cubic meters per year.
