Guigang Steel completes hot trial run of Φ28mm large-size high-speed wire rod

On October 20, Guangxi Guigang Iron and Steel Group completed the hot load trial run of Φ28mm large-size high-speed wire rod under its No.1 bar line upgrade and new wire rod project. Product dimensional accuracy, surface quality and full-line operating parameters all met the required standards, and the line is now running stably.
The project was carried out on existing plant assets without adding new industrial land. It upgrades an existing 1,000,000tpy ordinary bar production line into an intelligent combined bar and wire rod line with capacity for 200,000tpy of special steel bar and 500,000tpy of high-quality special steel wire rod.
