Ukraine's Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade (ICIT) has terminated anti-dumping (AD) measures on steel fasteners, including bolts, nuts and screws, originating in China.
Effective October 13, 2026, the decision concluded a review originally requested by domestic manufacturer Druzhkivka Hardware Plant upon the measures' expiration.
Government officials determined that extending duties on Chinese fasteners no longer serves Ukraine's national interest. Druzhkivka Hardware Plant suspended production due to its facilities being situated in active or former war zones, leaving the domestic producer unable to demonstrate manufacturing capabilities for certain fastener types under current conditions. Additionally, existing AD duties apply to various products that local companies do not manufacture.
