South Korea launches AD probe into Chinese seamless pipes and tubes

The Korea Trade Commission (KTC) published an official announcement on 8 October 2026, launching an anti-dumping (AD) investigation into seamless pipes and tubes imported from China.
The probe follows an application filed by domestic producer Iljin Steel Co., Ltd. The dumping investigation period covers 2025, while the injury assessment period spans 2021 through 2025.
Authorities expect to issue a preliminary determination within three months of initiation, subject to a potential extension of up to two months.
The products concerned fall under HS codes 7304.19.0000, 7304.31.0000, 7304.39.0000, 7304.51.0000, 7304.59.0000 and 7304.90.0000.
