Major Chinese steel mills produced 18.20million tonnes of finished steel during the first ten days of October, with an average daily output of 1,820,000 tonnes, down 11.5% from late September, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, finished steel inventories at major mills were 16.97 million tonnes, an increase of 1,320,000 tonnes, or 8.4%, from late September.
