HBIS Laoting ignites No.3 reheating furnace for phase II 1580mm hot rolling project

On October 10, the No.3 reheating furnace for the phase II 1580mm hot rolling line upgrade project of HBIS Laoting was ignited, officially entering the furnace baking stage.
The project scope includes the construction of one new walking-beam reheating furnace, a calcium-based dry desulfurization plus SCR denitrification system supporting the No.3 reheating furnace, one slab sizing press, one No.3 coiler, and supporting utility facilities. It also covers revamp of existing facilities that interface with the newly added equipment. The project mainly produces high-performance, high-quality high-strength automotive steel sheets.
