A high-tech battery materials project with an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes has officially broken ground in the Yuanjiaba Aluminum Industrial Park of the Guangyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Sichuan
Invested by Sichuan Jiuda Aluminum Co., Ltd. and constructed by Gongyi Xingrui Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., the project carries a total investment of RMB400 million (USD59.77 million) and covers a land area of 25,073.89 square meters.
The facility will house five high-precision battery aluminum foil production lines, each with an annual capacity of 10,000 tonnes. It will also produce 6,000 tonnes of aluminum-copper composite plates and 2,400 tonnes of aluminum-copper composite foils per year.
Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of RMB1.3 billion (USD194.26 million), contribute RMB90.328 million (USD13.50 million) in tax revenue, and create more than 90 jobs. It is scheduled to be completed and put into production in October 2026.
