    On October 8, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology publicized the capacity replacement plan for a 100,000tpy primary aluminum project by Shanxi Zhaofeng Aluminum New Materials Co.Asian Metal Copyright, Ltd.Asian Metal Copyright, Ltd.Asian Metal CopyrightOn October 8, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology publicized the capacity replacement plan for a 100,000tpy primary aluminum project by Shanxi Zhaofeng Aluminum New Materials Co.Asian Metal Copyright The public notice period runs from October 8 to October 20.

    Shanxi Zhaofeng will add 64 electrolytic cells (600KA) in the Xiyan Circular Economy Park, located in the Yuxian Economic and Technological Development Zone, Yangquan City. Construction is set to begin in January 2027, with production expected to start in September 2027.

    To meet replacement requirements, Taiyuan Donglv Aluminum Co., Ltd.Asian Metal Copyright .Asian Metal Copyright already dismantled 152 electrolytic cells (240KA), removing capacity of 100,000tpy.
