Yangchun New Steel completes hot load trial on No. 2 high-speed wire rod line

On September 28, Yangchun New Steel completed the hot load trial run of its No. 2 high-speed wire rod line. The first 180mm continuous casting billet was rolled and coiled on the laying head.
The line will produce mid-to-high-end industrial wire rods--including cold heading steel, high-quality carbon steel and free-cutting steel--in plain round diameters from 5.5mm to 25.0mm. Key equipment features internationally leading high-speed wire rod rolling technology, holding finished product dimensional tolerance to within ±0.12mm, helping meet the stringent raw material requirements of high-end fasteners, auto parts and other advanced applications.
