Mineral-Rich Mountain files for Hong Kong IPO

China Rare Earth Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. announced on September 23 that its associate company, Guangdong Rising Mineral-Rich Mountain Copper Co., Ltd., submitted an application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 22 for an initial public offering of overseas-listed shares (H shares) and a listing on the Main Board.
Mineral-Rich Mountain is primarily engaged in the exploration, mining, ore processing, comprehensive utilization and sale of copper, sulfur and other polymetallic mineral resources. It operates the largest open-pit mine in South China, supported by specialized copper-sulfur beneficiation facilities. Its core products include copper concentrate, sulfur concentrate and magnetic sulfur concentrate. As of the announcement date, China Rare Metal holds a 40% stake in Mineral-Rich Mountain.
