Shanxi Taihang Renewables' aluminum scrap crushing and sorting line begins trial production

On September 21, Shanxi Taihang Renewable Resources Co., Ltd. launched trial production of its scrap aluminum crushing and sorting line.
The line integrates advanced processes including dual-shaft shredding, hammer crushing, magnetic separation, air separation, X-ray sorting, eddy current separation, trommel screening and electrostatic separation, enabling automated, continuous processing of scrap aluminum materials. It efficiently removes impurities such as iron, plastics and rubber, boosting the purity and added value of recycled aluminum and supporting green, circular utilization of scrap aluminum resources. The line can process 10 tonnes of mixed scrap aluminum per hour, with an estimated annual output value of 400 million (USD59.66 million).
