Australia issues final AD and CVD rulings on China's light gauge steel stud and track

Australia has concluded its anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations into light gauge steel stud and track originating in China, imposing definitive duties.
The Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science approved recommendations from the Anti-Dumping Commission to impose an AD rate of 37.8% on Wenan Kaize Building Material Co., Ltd., and 33.3% on uncooperative and other Chinese exporters. In addition, a CVD rate of 4.5% applies to all uncooperative and remaining exporters.
The measures exempt medium and heavy gauge steel stud and track, noggings, and flexible track components.
The products involved fall under HS codes 7216.61.00.57, 7216.69.00.58, 7216.91.00.59, 7308.90.00.52, 7308.90.00.53, 7308.90.00.55, and 7308.90.00.56.
