Metro Mining ships 756,000 WMT in August 2026 from Bauxite Hills Mine

Metro Mining Limited on September 16 provided the following operational update for its Bauxite Hills Mine, located in Cape York, Far North Queensland:
756,000 wet metric tonnes (WMT) shipped in August 2026.
The offshore floating terminal (OFT) Ikamba returned to full operational strength in late July and demonstrated its standalone capacity by shipping 756,000 WMT in August---an 8% increase over the previous month's result. Following a successful dry-docking, the TSA Skardon will return to site in mid-September, in time to take advantage of favourable shipping conditions.
Calendar year shipment guidance for 2026 remains at 6.6 to 7.1 million WMT.
