Mexico imposes definitive AD duties on Chinese aluminum profiles and bars

Mexico's Ministry of Economy (SE) has issued a definitive affirmative anti-dumping (AD) determination on aluminum profiles and bars from China, setting the final duty at US$1.58 per kilogram.
The measure takes effect the day after publication and covers products classified under TIGIE tariff codes 7604.10.02, 7604.10.99, 7604.29.01, 7604.29.02, and 7604.29.99.
The investigation was launched on March 5, 2025, examining dumping practices between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024, along with injury spanning back to July 1, 2021. Preliminary measures imposed on December 29, 2025, had previously set a temporary four-month duty of US$1.55 per kilogram.
