DRC H1 coltan output reaches 868.94 tonnes

According to statistics from the Technical Cell for Mining Coordination and Planning (CTCPM) of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), as reported by La Guardia, the country produced approximately 868.94 tonnes of coltan in the first half of 2026. Artisanal operations accounted for 803.73 tonnes, or roughly 92.5% of total output, while industrial production contributed 65.21 tonnes. Reported artisanal output rose sharply to 648.08 tonnes in the second quarter, up from 155.65 tonnes in the first quarter.
