Bosai Group to build high-end manganese metal materials industrial base

On September 7, the government of Chifeng and Chongqing Bosai Mining Group signed an Investment Cooperation Agreement for the Manganese-Based High-End Metal Materials Industrial Base Project.
The project is designed to produce 240,000tpy of high-purity manganese-based new materials. It involves a total investment of RMB3 billion (USD447.22 million), including RMB2.5 billion (USD372.69 million) in fixed-asset investment, and will cover 700 mu (about 46.7 hectares) with an 18-month construction period. Once completed, it is expected to generate an annual output value of RMB4.5 billion (USD670.83 million) and tax revenue of more than RMB200 million (USD29.81 million), while creating 800 direct jobs and indirectly supporting more than 2,000 additional jobs.
