Brazil's Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) has initiated an anti-dumping (AD) investigation into high-pressure steel cylinders originating in China.
The proceeding follows a petition filed on January 30, 2026, by domestic producer MAT Equipamentos para Gases Ltda. The products under review are classified under Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM) tariff code 7311.00.00.
Investigators have set the dumping investigation period from October 2024 through September 2025, while the injury assessment period spans from October 2020 to September 2025.
The announcement took effect immediately upon its publication.
