Kunming Diyin secures phosphate mining license

On September 3, East Steel Tower announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Huiyuanda, intends to acquire a 72% stake in Kunming Diyin. In a recent development, Kunming Diyin has obtained the mining license and the mining right certificate for the Shugu phosphate mine, issued by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Natural Resources. The mining area covers 5.5253 square kilometres and carries a validity period of 15 years.
Securing the mining right marks a positive milestone for the proposed acquisition and supports the company's strategy of building an integrated potassium phosphorus industrial chain. However, the project still requires multiple regulatory approvals before construction can begin, and the equity transfer registration has yet to be completed.
