Shengfengyuan to acquire 65% stake in Haiteng Industry

Chengtun Mining announced on September 3 that its subsidiary, Shengfengyuan, will acquire a 65% equity interest in Haiteng Industry for RMB708.5 million (USD105.48 million). Upon completion of the transaction, Haiteng Industry will become a controlled sub-subsidiary of the company and will be consolidated into its financial statements.
Haiteng Industry holds the exploration permit for the Bagala (East) Lead-Zinc Mine Exploration Project in Maizhokunggar County and Lhünzhub County, Lhasa, Tibet. The exploration area covers 42.0668 square kilometers, and the permit is valid from July 28, 2026 to July 27, 2031.
According to the exploration report issued by the Northwest Geological Prospecting Institute of the China Metallurgical Geology Bureau as of September 30, 2025, the total identified resources (measured, indicated and inferred) of silver, lead and zinc in the I and II ore blocks of the mining area amount to 7.677 million tonnes of ore, containing 1,140 tonnes of silver at an average grade of 148.50 g/t, 196,992 tonnes of lead at 2.57%, and 332,546 tonnes of zinc at 4.33%.
