Australia extends anti-dumping and countervailing duties on precision pipe and tube steel from China and South Korea

The Australian Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science has approved recommendations to continue imposing anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) on precision pipe and tube steel imports from China and South Korea, effective September 29, 2026, according to Anti-Dumping Commission Notice No. 2026/097.
Under the renewed measures, Chinese exporter Dalian Steelforce Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. is subject to a 29.0% AD duty and a 0% CVD rate, while Yantai Aoxin International Trade Co., Ltd. faces a 43.4% AD rate with a 0% CVD rate. Other non-cooperative Chinese entities-excluding the two named companies-will incur a 15.6% AD rate and a 72.3% CVD rate. South Korean exporters are subject to a 21.4% AD duty.
The affected products fall under HS codes 7306.30.00.30, 7306.50.00.45, and 7306.61.00.21.
