Western Region Gold's two subsidiaries resume manganese ore production

Western Region Gold announced on August 31 that its subsidiaries, Baiyuanfeng Orto Kanesh Manganese Mine and Mengxin Tianba, have fully rectified all previously identified safety hazards and passed inspection by expert panels. Following on-site verification and approval by local emergency management authorities, both operations have been cleared to resume production.
Effective August 28, 2026, the two mines have officially restarted operations. The company stated that it will strictly enforce all safety control measures and manage production in full compliance with regulations.
The third mining area of Baiyuanfeng Orto Kanesh Manganese Mine remains offline and has not yet resumed production.
