Vietnam lowers anti-dumping duty on Chinese H-beams

Vietnam has reduced the anti-dumping (AD) duties imposed on H-beam steel products originating from certain Chinese producers. The duty rate for Hebei Jinxi Section Steel Co., Ltd. and its related entities-including Hebei Jinxi International Trade Co., Ltd., Hebei Jinxi Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Tianjin New Asia Prosperity Proprietary Limited, China Oriental Singapore Pte. Ltd., and Qianxi Kaijia Trade Company Limited-has been cut from 13.38% to 6.78%.
The revised duty will take effect 15 days following its official publication and will remain in force until September 5, 2027.
This adjustment follows the third interim review, which was initiated in November 2025 and covered the trade period from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. Vietnam first imposed anti-dumping duties on Chinese H-beams in September 2017, after launching an investigation in October 2016. The measures were later extended through a sunset review in 2022. In June 2026, authorities initiated a second sunset review, following earlier interim reviews conducted in 2019 and 2023.
The products subject to the duties fall under HS codes 7216.33.11, 7216.33.19, 7216.33.90, 7228.70.10, and 7228.70.90.
