Jingwei Huikai terminates investment agreement for composite copper (aluminum) foil project

Tianjin Jingwei Huikai Optoelectronic Co., Ltd. announced on August 21 that it signed a termination agreement with the Administrative Committee of Jiangsu Dafeng Economic Development Zone, effectively ending their cooperation on a previously planned composite copper (aluminum) foil manufacturing project.
The original investment contract, signed in 2023, envisioned building a production facility in the Dafeng Economic Development Zone as part of Jingwei Huikai's strategy to enter the new energy supply chain.
However, after a comprehensive review of the project's R&D progress, industrialization prospects, prevailing market conditions, and the expected returns on further investment, the company decided to discontinue the project and initiate the exit process. Both parties reached a mutual agreement, and the termination agreement was formally executed, bringing the collaboration to a close.
