UK extends anti-dumping duties on welded tubes and pipes from Belarus and China

The UK Secretary of State has accepted recommendations from the Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) to extend anti-dumping (AD) measures on welded tubes and pipes originating in Belarus and China for an additional five years. The extended duties will remain in effect until January 30, 2031.
This decision supersedes Notice 2023/09 and maintains the existing AD duty rates: 38.1% for all exporters in Belarus and 90.6% for Chinese exporters.
The measures apply to welded tubes and pipes of circular cross-section, made of iron or non-alloy steel, with external diameters not exceeding 168.3mm. The affected products are classified under HS codes 7306 3041 20, 7306 3072 80, 7306 3077 80, and 7306 3049 20.
Excluded from the scope of these duties are line pipe used for oil or gas pipelines, casing and tubing used in oil or gas drilling, precision tubes, and tubes or pipes with attached fittings that are suitable for conducting gases or liquids in civil aircraft applications.
