China Molybdenum releases production results in H1 2026

China Molybdenum released its semi-annual results for 2026 on August 19, posting operating revenue of RMB135.32 billion (USD20.13 billion), a year-on-year increase of 42.78%.
In the first half of 2026, the company's copper production reached 387,961 tonnes, up 9.73% from a year earlier, with sales volumes of 376,164 tonnes, a gain of 16.6%. Cobalt production totalled 65,305 tonnes, an increase of 6.93%, but sales volumes plunged 87.6% to just 5,727 tonnes.
Among other metals, molybdenum production was 6,779 tonnes, down 3% year-on-year, with sales of 6,772 tonnes, a decline of 6.45%. Tungsten output fell 11.45% to 3,496 tonnes, while sales dropped 39.79% to 2,575 tonnes. Niobium production rose 2.29% to 5,351 tonnes, with sales of 5,583 tonnes, up 2.22%. Phosphate fertilizer production edged up 0.79% to 587,226 tonnes, while sales eased 1.62% to 579,264 tonnes.
