China's production of ten major nonferrous metals reached about 6.97 million tonnes in July 2026, up 2.5% YoY, and the output from January to July totaled 48.55 million tonnes, an increase of 3.2% from the same period last year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
From January to July, China produced about 27.17 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up 3.8% YoY, including 3.90 million tonnes or so in July, up 3.8% YoY.
