Shenzhen Sunxing to build aluminum-based new materials project

On August 18, Shenzhen Sunxing Light Alloys Materials Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhejiang Sunxing Lingchuan New Material Technology Co., Ltd., plans to sign a project investment agreement with the Administrative Committee of the Yangtze River Delta (Huzhou) Industrial Cooperation Zone. Under the agreement, a project company with registered capital of RMB100 million (USD14.83 million) will be established within the cooperation zone to develop a high end aluminum based new materials project.
The overall project envisions a total capacity of 100,000tpy and occupies approximately 150 mu (about 10 hectares) of land, with development to be carried out in phases. The first phase entails an investment of RMB400 million (USD59.33 million) to build a demonstration production line with an output of 20,000tpy of high end aluminum based new materials.
