Guocheng Mining to take full ownership of Dasuji molybdenum mine

On August 17, Guocheng Mining held an extraordinary shareholders' meeting. According to a disclosure issued afterward, the company's proposal to acquire a 40% equity stake in Inner Mongolia Guocheng Industrial from CITIC Trust was approved by shareholders. Upon completion of the transaction, Guocheng Mining will gain full ownership of the Dasuji molybdenum mine.
The core asset of Inner Mongolia Guocheng Industrial is the Dasuji molybdenum mine, located in Zhuozi County, Inner Mongolia. As of December 31, 2025, the mine holds approximately 111 million tonnes of ore resources within its mining and exploration rights, containing 128,600 tonnes of molybdenum metal at an average grade of 0.116%. This places the deposit among the largest scale molybdenum mines in China. The mine is currently undergoing permit modification procedures, with production capacity set to be expanded to 8,000,000tpy.
