The Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI) has issued a final affirmative ruling regarding hot-rolled coils (HRC) of iron or non-alloy steel produced by China's Wuhan Iron and Steel Company Limited (WISCO). The ruling recommends the imposition of a five-year anti-dumping (AD) duty at either 4.87% or US$28.06 per tonne on WISCO's relevant exports.
The investigation was initiated by Indonesia on September 1, 2025, with a preliminary affirmative determination issued on January 13, 2026, which had recommended a provisional duty of 17.55% or US$95.02 per tonne.
Subsequently, on May 22, 2026, Indonesia's Ministry of Finance imposed a provisional AD duty of 17.5% on WISCO's HRC products, effective for a period of six months.
