Yunnan Aluminum starts mass production of large section aluminum rod

Recently, the alloy wire rod production center at Yunnan Aluminum's Yangzonghai base completed quality inspections on a 2 ton coil of 19mm diameter large section aluminum round rod.
To date, the project cumulatively produced 600 tonnes of such large section rod, generating an additional monthly profit of RMB250,000 (USD37,071) while saving RMB2.86 million (USD424,092) in equipment investment. With this achievement, Yunnan Aluminum becomes the first Chinese manufacturer capable of mass producing 17.5mm and 19mm large section aluminum round rod, and has officially been admitted into the supply chain of leading energy storage battery manufacturers.
